| for my Nashville review!
It's been a while so I'm going to try to remember as much as I can...
Sushi (Sufi_Ash_DMB21 from the boards) came to my house and we left for Nashville at about 5am on Thursday morning. The drive wasn't bad although we did forget about the loss of an hour time change and ended up getting to the venue around 10:30 Nashville time (which really sucked because we had to PEE like whoa and the place next to the venue wasn't open until 11:30.) So we got there and sat under a tree for a bit, wondering what the hell to do until Annie and Jamie showed up.
Then the bus pulls up from where it was parked to right outside of the venue, aka, right next to us. Chewy and Buck come out and smoke and they talk to us for a bit about nothing and everthing. We also said Hi to Colin as well...and his gay boots. (Sushi also had a lovely encounter with Elias from RJA) Ok so line waiting..blah blah blah, Matt comes out once we're lined up at the doors and says hi to us. Actually as soon as he saw us he yelled 'SWEET ACTION BITCHES!' which pretty much made our day, lol. I finally go to see his foot tattoos (skulls) and I called him out on taking his RIOT shirt out of retirement. He also commented on Sushi and I's shirts (WWMD) with "That's creepy on so many levels" or something to that effect. He went to eat dinner and then we headed into the venue.
AWESOME venue like whoa. Stage was pretty low and we were RIGHT THERE. No security, no barriers. It was just us and the stage. I was right in front of Matt's pedals and it was amazing. RJA played and rocked out the house...well they rocked us. No else was really into them and people were still filing slowly in when they started. Men, Women, and Children played next and totally won me over. Those guys are SO AMUSING. I would gladly go to any show they played near me. Keating was last of the opening bands and they were good, but I was SO TIRED by that time (running on 4 hours of sleep and 9 of line waiting). Then finally 30stm came one! They were amazing as usual.

Although he didn't play The Story because some douchebag in the crowd. Fuckin douchebags. Anyway... It was great. I could pretty much reach out and touch Matt and Tomo came to rock out on our side of the stage. Jared came over a few times and I got a clear shot of Shannon. The songs sounded great and I loved being right there able to watch Matt rock out. He threw me a pick at one point and smiled....it bounced off my chest but I found him and showed him and he smiled again. I don't know why he threw it when he could have just handed it to me. lol
After the show we hung out and handed out promo stuff for RJA, told them good show. We also said Hi to some of the MW&C guys who are pretty awesome if I do say so myself. Then we decided to head to the busses and as we were passing Matt came out of the venue and walked with us. I gave him a hemp keychain I made him because he says everything he gets breaks and proceeded to tell me this would too. Then I told him you have to be crazy to break a hemp keychain. I also forgave him for sweating on me a few times to which he replied "Hey, you fight with the bull you get the horns!" Dork. So yeah we talked back to the bus with him and that's where the drama started. I'm not going into details because if you haven't heard about it you can just find it on the boards. It was weird and awkward and that bitch made me miss a picture with Matt AGAIN. (Yeah, a little bitter).
Then we headed back to our hotel to eat and pass out and get up about 5 hours later to head home! YAY! Fun was had, I love Sushi and she stayed with me for the rest of the weekend and it was good times all around. I can't wait for Knoxville like whoa.
